Andrea Swayne, Director, Partner Services

Andrea brings more than 23 years of experience serving those in need, particularly seniors, at all levels of the care continuum. With a Bachelors Degree in Music Therapy, she has also worked with the developmentally disabled, HIV/AIDS patients, MS and Parkinson clients and the homeless. After receiving her Masters degree in Gerontology, Andrea became a Resident Director at Volunteers of America, and had her first experience with WellAWARE System’s initial sensor technology where she played a pivotal role in its ongoing development.

What does the WellAWARE Systems opportunity mean to you?

“I have been blessed that my love for elders has turned into a wonderful career. I have worked my way through skilled nursing homes as a nursing assistant and as an Activity Director and Executive Director in assisted living facilities. It is because of this hands on training directly serving seniors that I am able to champion this technology to positively impact care delivery and advocate for those we serve.”
