Pauline Johnson, Director, Training

Pauline brings a depth of diverse experience leading customer support, help desk, corporate training, information systems and information technology organizations. Her management skills have been refined in both small and large organizations, most notably British Aerospace and Kaiser Permanente. In addition, Pauline is a published author, technical and contributing editor for various university textbooks published by Addison Wesley/ Benjamin Cummings.

What does the WellAWARE Systems opportunity mean to you?

“Having lived in the same city as my grandparents and great-grandmother, I was blessed with close relationships with them. I traveled to Canada with my “Grammie” when I was 12 years old; we were truly “kindred spirits.” As a teen I helped take meals to my great-grandmother, who lived independently in her home until she passed away. My other grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and had to leave my grandfather to live in a memory care facility.  Being married to a pastor and special education teacher, who cared for the elderly in our churches, and works with developmentally challenged kids, has opened my heart and eyes to their needs. These close relationships and experiences have shaped my passion for what we do. I am thrilled with the ability of our WellWARE system to help extend independence and wellness so that people can age in place gracefully and healthfully, and family members can be at peace knowing their loved ones are well cared for.”
